Biography

Joey McGraw is an instructional designer in the National Security Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His primary job function has a strong emphasis on performance-based e-Learning development; however, McGraw works on a multitude of training projects for synchronous and asynchronous delivery. His approach to training development combines a traditional systematic approach to training with his background in multimedia design, user interface and experience design, and website and app development. McGraw works closely with learning management systems used in the delivery of e-Learning and virtual training. He is knowledgeable about web-based training standards, such as SCORM and xAPI. 

Previously, McGraw worked as a multimedia designer and web developer for private companies and federal contractors. This work included corporate identity design, Drupal website development, web application development, video production, and animation.
