Biography

Jessica Snider is a project manager in the National Security Directorate (NSD) supporting several programs within the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration. 

Since 2023, Snider has also supported the Office of International Nuclear Security in various initiatives, including managing the planning team for the Advancing INFCIRC/908 International Working Group (also known as IAEA Information Circular 908), which is focused on mitigating insider risk to nuclear and radiological security. Snider is the project manager for the Minority Serving Intuition Partnership programs, where PNNL partners with minority serving institutions to develop and strengthen educational capacities and support a career workforce pathway between institutions of higher education and the National Nuclear Security Administration National Security Enterprise. As a deployment manager for the Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence program, Snider collaborates with partner country agencies and associated country teams to deploy nuclear detection equipment throughout the globe. 

Snider began her career at PNNL in January 2017 as a project controls professional for the NSD, where she assisted various projects to develop and stand-up budget and cost reporting processes using project management best practices and participated in the Battelle Early Career Development program.
