Biography

James is a full-stack web developer who has been designing, building, and maintaining web applications since 2013. He joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in the summer of 2020.

James has spent much of his time at the Lab leading a project to promotion irrigation modernization, and has presented the tool to regional, national, and international audiences. James' other roles include project manager and visualization lead.

James takes ownership and asks questions to dig in to find the core problem that needs to be solved. He strives to bring the right people together and proactively communicate to see a task through to its completion according to the needs and timeline of the stakeholders.

James also has over three years of experience developing and delivering professional development training. He loves seeing the impact that a few good habits can have on a person's overall engagement and happiness in the workplace. He is particularly interested in time management and productivity strategies.
