Biography

Ingrid Burgeson is an advisor at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) specializing in tritium handling, radiochemical separations, and post-irradiation examination (PIE). With more than 35 years of experience, Ingrid has advanced PNNL’s capabilities in nuclear process engineering and tritium technology. She has played a key role in shaping the capabilities of the Radiochemical Processing Laboratory (RPL) and the RPL Extended Life Program, supporting mission-critical national security and energy programs. Ingrid serves as the project leader for the Tritium Technology Program’s PIE activities, where she has developed and implemented a strategic vision for modernizing and expanding RPL capabilities. Ingrid is known for her technical leadership, strategic project planning, and commitment to mentoring the next generation of researchers.
