More than 25 years of professional communications experience that includes managing all aspects of outreach and publications for scientific and academic organizations, as well as five years reporting for a statewide daily newspaper. Currently providing strategic communications support to the Physical and Computational Sciences Directorate and Earth and Biological Sciences Directorate. Previously led communications for the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) climate user facility working to align communications with the facility’s mission and vision, and working with a cross-functional team to produce quality print, digital, web, and social media products for internal and external audiences with measurable impact. Skills include: strategic planning, excellent customer service, writing, working with news media, and social media.
