Edoardo Serra
Biography
Edoardo Serra is an associate professor at Boise State University and a joint appointee at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in the Data Sciences and Machine Intelligence group. He obtained his PhD in Systems and computer engineering from the University of Calabria in Italy. Dr. Serra’s research focuses on classifying software vulnerabilities to thwart cybercriminals. In 2021, his team’s research on a new framework, V2W-BERT, was recognized with the “Best Application Paper Award” by the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics.
