Biography

Daniel H. Call is a postdoctoral research associate researching proteomics with the Cell Signaling and Communications team at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Call has about five years of experience in proteomics from his graduate research and is very interested in infectious diseases, microbiology, metabolism, and proteomics. Call is researching tuberculosis (TB) and using proteomics to better understand why the disease relapses for some patients after treatment. The goal of this project is to find protein biomarkers that can predict TB treatment efficacy and improve treatment success. Call is also participating in The Environmental Determinants of Diabetes in the Young project and a large consortium studying chronic pain post-surgery called the Omics Data Generation Center for the Acute to Chronic Pain Signatures.
