Biography

Craig Maloney is a project manager in the Risk & Environmental Assessment group. Maloney has a BS in applied and computational mathematical sciences from the University of Washington, with a minor in mathematics. He earned his project management professional certification in 2010. He has successfully completed a number of leadership programs, including graduating from Leadership Tri-Cities, Class XVIII. Maloney is a certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Since 2009, he has managed project and programmatic risks in support of highly complex Department of Energy projects, which range in duration from years to nearly a century and have lifecycle costs up to tens of billions of dollars. Prior to that, he performed a number of production related roles with a small biotech company that manufactures radiopharmaceuticals for treating cancer.

Maloney has extensive knowledge and practical experience of risk applications for producing sound and defensible risk elicitation and Monte Carlo risk analyses. He has a long track record of applying risk assessment skills to support business development, project management, and technical contributions for a variety of technically complex projects.

Outside of his professional life, Maloney is very active in his community. He was elected as a Pasco City Councilmember in 2017. He is a co-founder of the Pasco Taco Crawl, an annual charity event supporting local businesses and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties. Maloney has served on numerous boards and commissions.
