Biography
Carrie Carlson is a software test engineer, team leader and project manager. She is the team leader over the Application & System Testing team within the Human Centered Computing group. She was the leader over the Developer Central team and applications that are provided to the software developers to help facilitate software engineering best practices and is a subject matter expert with Confluence and Jira. Currently, she is a project manager on two projects for TSA and works on a handful of projects doing software testing and software quality assurance.
With a focus in software testing and quality assurance, her experience is with all aspects of software testing, including creating test plans and test strategies, test case development, and successful test execution and reporting. Her expertise encompasses configuration management, requirements specifications, and various types of documentation for software deliverables as well. She has an interest in automated testing and using tools to automate the deployment process of software applications (CI/CD) with unit testing to deliver high-quality products. Carrie is experienced with a variety of standards related to software quality and has implemented the requirements for these standards on various projects. She is learning more about artificial intelligence and machine learning model testing.
