Axel Pearson joined PNNL in 2022 as a Project Manager. Much of his work focuses on energy efficient lighting and controls, workforce development, and building energy efficiency. He also has experience with codes and standards development, lighting auditing, utility incentive programs, and energy education. Axel holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Environmental Studies, a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco. His certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute since 2024 and Lighting Certified (LC) by the NCQLP since 2017.
