As ALD, Angela leads a broad and impactful portfolio spanning advanced energy systems, nuclear energy innovation, grid modernization, subsurface and environmental engineering, and technologies that improve the production, delivery, and use of energy. Previously, in her cross-cutting role as Director of EED’s Program Development Office, she evaluated emerging national, regional, and state energy and environmental priorities, policies, and programs to focus EED’s strategy on the most impactful outcomes.

Angela rejoined PNNL in April 2019 after previously serving as an EED senior policy analyst from 2011–2015. Between her appointments at PNNL, she served as Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, where she oversaw policy and legislative activities related to the Department of Energy’s Office of Science, applied research and development programs, Bonneville Power Administration, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and Department of the Interior.
