2026 Washington State Fusion Week and 13th Annual CleanTech Innovation Showcase

Researchers from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) will participate in both the 2026 Washington State Fusion Week and the 13th annual CleanTech Innovation Showcase, highlighting expertise in fusion energy, advanced materials, geosciences, power systems, manufacturing, and other technologies.

Monday, August 31 – Everett, WA
Tuesday, September 1 – Tukwila, WA
Wednesday, September 2–3 – Tri-Cities, WA

The CleanTech Alliance is expanding its annual events to the Tri-Cities for the first time, bringing together the 2026 Washington State Fusion Week and the 13th annual CleanTech Innovation Showcase in a collaborative program featuring participants from across the region.

Fusion Week will take place in Everett on August 31, Tukwila on September 1, and the Tri-Cities on September 2.

The Innovation Showcase will take place in the Tri-Cities on September 3, with themes focused on subsurface energy, materials science, and energy and the grid. PNNL will host the final day of Fusion Week as well as the Innovation Showcase.

What to Expect

Explore educational panels, networking, and tours at PNNL in Richland, Washington. This will be a collaboration-rich environment where researchers gather with academic and industrial partners. Visitors can look forward to the following throughout Washington State Fusion Week and the CleanTech Innovation Showcase:

  • Informative keynotes on sector trends
  • Presentations on topics ranging from fusion fuels and tritium supply to subsurface science, data centers, and advanced materials
  • Presenting companies with emerging technologies
  • Opportunities to tour various PNNL laboratories, including the Applied Engineering Laboratory, Energy Sciences Center, Grid Storage Launchpad, and Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory
  • Workshops, networking, demonstrations, and exhibitor booths
  • Breakfast, lunch, and happy hour receptions
