Cyber Risk Reduction The increasing digitization of our world has created many innovations that bettered our world by introducing connectivity to systems that were never connected before. But it has also created a vast landscape of novel, often interconnected, risks and threats that traditional cybersecurity approaches are insufficient to address. The Cyber Risk Reduction group performs applied research leveraging PNNL capabilities in hardware, software, and firmware security to benefit sectors critical to national security by figuring out how to deconstruct, evaluate, and improve complex systems and develop tools, practices, and skills to meet these challenges.
