Post-Bachelor’s Fellowships
Leveraging the success of NGFP, the post-bachelor’s fellowship gives students a launchpad for career opportunities within NNSA and the greater national security community.
Launched in 2024, the first cohort of the NNSA post-bachelor’s fellowship will be the Class of 2025–2026.
This opportunity is a career gateway that provides:
- Real-world experience working in the NNSA program and site offices making significant contributions to the nation
- Specialized training, leadership, and career development and networking
- Collaboration with professionals and leading researchers in activities and events around the world.
Fellows support the full breadth of NNSA mission capabilities and make powerful programmatic contributions across the technical and policy realms. We are committed to your growth as a future leader by providing an annual fellowship agenda with learning, networking, and training opportunities.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the requirements below.
- Ability to obtain a future security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Completed a bachelor's degree on or after April 2023 and before January 2025.
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Available to work full time for the duration of the one-year fellowship (June 2025–June 2026).
Applicants pursuing master's or doctoral degrees should apply for the NGFP posting for graduate students.
