This paper provides a comprehensive review of radiation effects (due to ?-, ß- and a-decay events, as well as from actinide doping experiments and particle irradiations) on nuclear waste form glasses and crystalline ceramics, particularly Synroc phases, zircon, apatite, monazite and titanite.
