Exascale Computing Project
The Exascale Computing Project (ECP) is an aggressive research, development, and deployment project focused on delivery of mission-critical applications, an integrated software stack, and exascale hardware technology advances. PNNL is a participating laboratory partner with the ECP.
Goal: Provide science-based applications that can exploit exascale for high-confidence insights and answers to critical problems in national security, energy assurance, economic competitiveness, and health care.
Goal: Assure that future exascale architectures are created using informed designs by integrating scientific problems with the design of algorithms and software.
Goal: Build a comprehensive, coherent software stack that includes operational software, libraries to develop high-level applications software, and the infrastructure to support large-scale data analysis and visualization across diverse exascale architectures.
