Sarah Grasty has an interdisciplinary background in writing, project management, and community engagement, along with advanced degrees in marine science and environmental science. Before working at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Grasty managed education and outreach for seafloor mapping projects and contributed to significant initiatives in coastal resilience and youth programs. She also led various grants to assess reef fish populations in the eastern Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic.
