Biography
Marjolein Oostrom is a data scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. She previously worked as a research assistant in Washington State University neuroscience laboratories and in software support for vegetable breeding in the Netherlands. She enjoys working in computer vision, text analytics, and interactive data visualization. Marjolein has master of science degrees in data analytics and biology, as well as undergraduate degrees in neuroscience and psychology.
