Biography

Kamila Kazimierczuk joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in 2021 and is a wind energy analyst in the Distributed Systems group. Her research interests include the intersection between renewable energy generation, planetary health, and climate change mitigation. She currently supports the distributed wind research portfolio, which covers topics such as domestic market data and cost analysis, wind resource assessment, and stakeholder outreach and education.

As part of her work, she helps author the annual Distributed Wind Market Report produced for the Department of Energy. Kazimierczuk also contributes to a variety of other research topics at PNNL, including energy equity and the energy transition, climate change planning for utilities, and multi-objective decision-making for modern grid planning.
