Biography
Jake Bohlke joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2007 and has served as the Group Leader for the Irradiation Sciences Group since January 2025. His background is as a project manager in the Radiological Exposures and Metrology (REM) Laboratory—also called the 318 Building—where work is conducted in health physics, radiation dosimetry, irradiation research design, Monte Carlo modeling, radiation biology, engineering, and radiography.
Bohlke's experience includes managing the dosimetry proficiency testing that falls under PNNL’s National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accredited processes under scope 105020-0, as well as instrument calibration, repair, and research for approximately 80 clients from the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, commercial nuclear power plants, and the private sector. As the group leader, Bohlke is responsible for managing operations and staff at the REM Laboratory.
Bohlke earned his BA in communication studies at Eastern Washington University and is currently pursuing an MBA from Western Governors University.
