Biography

Aubrey Means is a national security specialist in the Threat Prevention & Resilience group, where her work supports the Department of State, Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration, and Department of Defense on topics related to nuclear nonproliferation, space, financial sanctions, and climate security. Prior to joining PNNL, Aubrey worked as an international sanctions compliance officer in the financial industry. She also has previous experience at multiple think tanks and as a research associate in Czech Technical University's VR-1 research reactor. Aubrey has published research related to the nexus of nuclear nonproliferation and climate change.

Aubrey holds a BA in French and history from Willamette University and an MA in nonproliferation and terrorism studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She is based in Washington, DC.
