Biography

Alexis Banasky Moore manages projects related to international safeguards and nuclear security. She leads Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s (PNNL’s) efforts in NA-241 Human Capital Development (HCD) and NA-243 Next Generation Arms Control Experts (NG-ACE) to develop the next generation of experts in safeguards and arms control.

Banasky Moore also supports sustainability efforts in the Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence (NSDD) program. She is a technical oversite representative, providing support to project managers at PNNL and other national laboratories on multiple contracts in foreign locations.

Previously at PNNL, Banasky Moore worked in Safeguards and Security (SAS) where she supported internal assessments and interacted with the Department of Energy (DOE) and other customers. In that role, she supported DOE’s program planning and management; foreign visits and assignments; facility clearance; and foreign ownership, control, or influence.

She has more than 10 years of customer service experience, including four years in supervisory roles.
