"Fusing Confusing Data Streams: Insight into Seattle's Transportation System"
Join PNNL's Chase P. Dowling on March 4, 2021 from 4:30 - 5:30 pm as he discusses a PNNL - University of Washington collaboration on how multiple mobility data streams collected in Seattle were pieced together to create a more holistic picture of land and energy use - specifically on downtown roadways and curb zoning - to gain both practical and theoretical insight.
The event is hosted virtually via Zoom and is free to the public. The UW Data Science Seminar is an annual lecture series at the University of Washington that hosts scholars working across applied areas of data science, such as the sciences, engineering, humanities and arts along with methodological areas in data science, such as computer science, applied math and statistics.
