Research Areas
Solving complex problems in the dynamic Earth system
Human influence on the natural environment is a core focus of our research. Our science includes harnessing wave energy for renewable power, predicting the impacts of sea level rise or storm surges, and tracking groundwater contamination beneath the Earth’s surface. We also search for ways to advance carbon sequestration, geothermal energy, and sustainable oil and gas recovery.
