Multi-electron redox reaction of an organic radical cathode induced by a mesopore carbon network with nitroxide polymers

Abstract

The organic radical-Ketjenblack composite cathode developed by a simple solvent-less electrode fabrication method demonstrates the significant improvements in specific capacity, rate performance and cycle life which are promoted by a unique Ketjenblack network. The composite system is promising for the practical applications of electrochemical energy storage devices with high performance and low cost.
