Long-Path Measurements of Ultrasonic Attentuation and Velocity for Very Dilute Slurries and Liquids and detection of contaminates

Abstract

By reflectiong ultrasound from the stainless steel walls of a vessel many times, a very long path is obtained for accurate mesaurement of the attenuation and velocity of sound.
