If an employee witnesses any unsafe conditions or uncontrolled hazards, he or she must report them to his or her manager immediately. Employees must also report all workplace injuries, illnesses, incidents or releases to the environment as soon as possible, regardless of the severity. Battelle prohibits any form of discipline, reprisal, intimidation, or retaliation for reporting an environment, safety or health concerns or violations of policy, or for cooperating in related investigations.
The PNNL Annual Site Environmental Report is published annually to provide the most recent information available regarding the status of PNNL's compliance with federal, state and local governmental laws and regulations; and its regional environmental monitoring efforts. The report addresses facility operations and environmental surveillance occurring both on the PNNL Campus in Richland, Washington, and at the PNNL campus in Sequim, Washington.
