During his time at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, he’s been involved in projects for the Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium (MoTrPAC). Specifically, Sagendorf had the opportunity to develop new R packages and perform differential analysis and functional enrichment (Gene Set Enrichment Analysis, Kinase-Substrate Enrichment Analysis) on multi-omic white adipose and muscle tissue data (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.02.03.527012v1). His primary interest is the development of new analysis tools and R packages.
