Biography

Stephanie DiRaddo joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2024 as an Earth scientist. She is a geoscientist focused on CO2 sequestration and Environmental Protection Agency Class VI permitting, with 12 years of subsurface experience specializing in geocellular modeling, reservoir characterization, and large-scale field development. DiRaddo spent her early career focused on hydrocarbon exploration with SLB (formerly Schlumberger). Over the past 5 years, she has worked with industry partners to evaluate over 50 sites across the U.S. and abroad for geologic carbon storage feasibility. Most recently, she managed large-scale commercial field development of several CO2 sequestration sites in the Midwest. She is originally from Pennsylvania, where she received her B.S. in geobiology (everything from geomicrobiology to vertebrate paleontology) at The Pennsylvania State University.
