Paritosh Pande
Biography
Paritosh Pande, a data scientist, has extensive research experience in machine learning, image and signal processing, optical imaging, and mathematical modeling and simulation. Before arriving at PNNL in the summer of 2016, he was a postdoc at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working on the development of point-of-care optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems for clinical imaging. Pande’s graduate work at Texas A&M University involved the development of automated algorithms for computer-aided diagnosis of atherosclerosis and oral cancer using a multimodal imaging system comprising of Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging and OCT. He currently works on the applications of machine learning and mathematical modeling to diverse areas ranging from biology, to atmospheric science, to optical imaging.
