Biography
Mariella Lora is a project manager and team lead within the National Security Directorate Detection Physics group. She plays a crucial role within the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program, initially as the Engagements Manager and presently as the Outreach Manager.
Transitioning to Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2019 marked a significant milestone in her career trajectory. Prior to her tenure at PNNL, she contributed her expertise to Washington State University (WSU) Tri-Cities for nine years, engaging with diverse departments such as GEAR UP, the Office of Admissions, and the College of Arts and Sciences. Notably, her commitment extended to supporting DACA/Dreamer students as the esteemed advisor of the Dreams Club at WSU Tri-Cities, receiving WSU’s MLK Service Award in 2015.
