Biography
Lauren Rodman joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in 2019 and specializes in environmental resource management and energy development issues, with a focus on nuclear energy, renewable energy, and Tribal policy. Rodman has experience in conducting stakeholder engagement and knowledge management activities and has supported non-profits and various federal agencies, including the Department of Energy and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Rodman has extensive experience working with Native American Tribes. Rodman has facilitated Tribal involvement in federal agency Tribal working groups involved in nuclear waste transportation planning and has conducted research with First Nations on renewable energy projects. Additional experience includes conducting semi-structured interviews and ethnographic research, facilitating stakeholder involvement, and developing strategic plans and public communication materials.
