Biography
Jami Prigge is the division director for the Physical Detection Systems and Deployment Division in the National Security Directorate (NSD) at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and has more than 25 years of experience advancing national security missions. Since joining PNNL in 1999 as an industrial/systems engineer, she has held roles as an engineer, project and program manager, technical group manager, Project Management Office director, and division-level leader, managing diverse staff and portfolios in radiation detection, nuclear nonproliferation, and cybersecurity.
Prigge previously served as the Project Management Office director for Global Security and Integrated Systems, where she oversaw a $300M+ portfolio of approximately 175–200 projects annually. In this role, she was responsible for expert delivery across the portfolio and for the acceptance and management of risk, strengthening mission execution while balancing safety, security, and research excellence.
Previously, Prigge led major Department of Homeland Security radiation detection programs, Special Programs projects, and served in multiple leadership positions. She has been the technical group manager for both the Engineered Systems Group and the Technology Systems Integration Group and has served as the interim director of the Operations Systems and Technology Division. In these roles, she focused on building distinctive capabilities in physical detection systems and integrated national security technologies by aligning people, facilities, and investments with long-term mission priorities and ensuring strong integration with broader NSD strategies.
