Biography
Dr. Gregory Vandergrift is a post-doctorate research associate working with the Biogeochemical Transformations team in PNNL’s Environmental Molecular Sciences Division and the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) user program. He is currently working on developing nanospray desorption electrospray ionization (nanoDESI) for imaging topographically complex biological surfaces (such as microbial communities) and combining nanoDESI with complementary spectroscopic techniques for further sample characterization. He is also using nanoDESI for the characterization of aerosols.
