Biography

Dan Strakal collaborates with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and other DOE laboratory personnel, U.S. domestic partners, and international sponsors to effectively align people, processes, and performance. He started within the DOE complex as a contractor in 1986 at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, spending several years in a variety of roles, including special capability weapons manufacturing, environmental science and mixed hazardous waste management, and assisting with the DOE/EPA/State of Idaho Tri-Party Agreement. 

He has also worked for many years as a certified leadership and employee development consultant and change management practitioner for various international and domestic companies, including Kuehne Nagel (the world’s largest logistics, shipping, and distribution company); Givaudan (a global leader in taste and smell sensory research); Facebook; Toyota; Southwest Airlines; IDEXX (a world leader in veterinarian healthcare innovation); and others.
