Dan Nally
Biography
Dan Nally leads interdisciplinary teams conducting science-based and objective environmental planning and analysis for government and private clients. Across a wide range of ecosystems and jurisdictions, he specializes in evaluating potential impacts and developing mitigation for complex energy, mineral, and infrastructure projects under the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act. His experience includes preparation of environmental impact statements for offshore wind energy, onshore renewable energy, hard rock mining, oil and gas, and nuclear energy. He also assists agencies with preparation of land use and habitat conservation plans. He has worked extensively in coordination with the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other federal permitting agencies. Nally’s meticulous and innovative management style, analytical skills, and willingness to leverage emerging technologies help navigate complex planning and permitting challenges.
