Dr. Hanlong Wan became a member of the laboratory in October 2023, where his primary research focus has been on building simulation. Dr. Wan's expertise lies in the fields of heat pumps, refrigeration, and machine learning techniques, with a particular emphasis on system modeling and optimization in building systems. His research passion is centered around the development of energy systems, specifically the application of low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants in heat pump systems.
