Biography

Allegra Steenson is an Associate Energy Scientist who joined PNNL in April of 2021. She graduated from the University of Chicago in 2019 with a BS in Environmental Science, where she developed a strong background in research, experimental design, and statistical data analysis. At PNNL she works to support energy efficient technology campaigns through research, website content development, stakeholder outreach, and energy modeling. Her current focus is modeling the energy efficiency of low-emissivity secondary glazing for submission as an efficient measure to state Technical Reference Manuals as part of her work with the Storm Windows and Insulating Panels (SWIP) campaign.
