We report the first search for the JPC ¼ 0-- glueball in ?ð1SÞ and ?ð2SÞ decays with data samples of ð102 2Þ × 106 and ð158 4Þ × 106 events, respectively, collected with the Belle detector. No significant signals are observed in any of the proposed production modes, and the 90% credibility level upper limits on their branching fractions in ?ð1SÞ and ?ð2SÞ decays are obtained. The inclusive branching fractions of the ?ð1SÞ and ?ð2SÞ decays into final states with a ?c1 are measured to be Bð?ð1SÞ ? ?c1 þ anything ¼ ð1.90 0.43ðstatÞ 0.14ðsystÞÞ × 10-4 with an improved precision over prior measurements and ? ?c1 þ anythingÞ¼ð2.24 0.44ðstatÞ 0.20ðsystÞÞ × 10-4 for the first time.
