The "Unique Building Identifier (UBID) library and command-line executable" (IPID 31437-E) was successfully open sourced in 2018 with the most recent version released in 2019. As part its effort to open source its codes, the UBID project is now proceeding to open source the codes for the calculation of UBID-based statistics and for the generation of figures. This "invention" is an enhanced version of the UBID library and command-line executable that, in addition to encoding, decoding and validating UBIDs, also calculates UBID-based statistics and generates figures. UBID-based statistics include, but are not limited to: Source geometry: Area Azimuth rotation Bounding box Centroid UBID centroid for source geometry: Absolute "crow flies" distance from UBID centroid to centroid for source geometry. Chebyshev and Manhattan distances from UBID centroid to centroid for source geometry. UBID bounding box for source geometry: Area Percentage area increase w.r.t. source geometry For each statistic, this "invention" includes code to generate plots and figures, including, but not limited to: Bar charts, Histograms, and Heat maps.
