Biography
Dr. Patello is the Program and Sector Manager at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for the PNNL Isotope Program. This program supports scientific advances in the production and use of radioisotopes for research, medicine, and industrial applications for the DOE-SC Office of Nuclear Physics Isotope Program. In addition, Dr. Patello currently leads a number of individual projects within the Isotope Program. She is a current member of the Fusion Energy Science Advisory Committee, which provides independent advice to the Director of the Office of Science on complex scientific and technological issues that arise in the fusion energy sciences program. Dr. Patello received her Ph.D. in Ceramics and B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University.
