Chitra Sivaraman is the team leader for the Data Integration team at PNNL that supports DOE's Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program (ARM), EERE's Atmosphere to Electron (A2e) Initiative, EERE's LightMAT DataHUB, EERE's Livewire Data Platform and EERE's MHKiT project.

The Data Integration team comprises of software developers, web developers, system architects and IT engineers. The team develops software to collect, monitor, process and apply advanced algorithms for time-series data. The group engages with a diverse group of stakeholders to provide the highest quality data to it's users. The team has experience managing data using cloud and on-premise resources.

As manager, Chitra ensures tasks and projects have clear scope, schedule and resource requirements. She also ensures that projects are adequately planned, technically sound, risks are addressed and results are delivered on schedule.

Research Interests

  • Chitra's research interests are in the areas of scientific data management and development of software products to fulfill unmet measurement needs and the representation of this data in models.
