Kate Calvin is an Earth scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Joint Global Change Research Institute in College Park, MD. Her research focuses integrated human-Earth system modeling, including work on both the Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM) and the Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM). Her recent work has focused on land, particularly interactions between land, energy, water, and climate.
