Weak Interaction Physics

Weak interaction physics includes any phenomena associated with the weak nuclear force and related interactions. This includes studies of beta decay, double-beta decay (both two-neutrino and neutrinoless), solar and atmospheric neutrinos, extra-solar sources of astrophysical neutrinos such as supernova neutrinos, neutrino magnetic moment, coherent neutrino scattering, dark matter such as weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs), axion searches, and symmetry breaking mediated by the weak force.
