Research Interests

  • Dr. Wang’s research interest mainly focuses on using simulation tools to understand complex physics at different length scales covering from atomistic, to meso- and macro-scale using Lagrangian or/and Eulerian based computational methods including computational fluid dynamics, discrete element method, finite element method, molecular dynamics, etc. His expertise also involves data-driven statistical modeling, including uncertainty quantification, reduced order model, machine learning, and deep learning.
