The Three River's Entrepreneur Network presents its June seminar: "Using dollars that make sense: understanding cash management for small businesses." The session will add clarity to the term ‘cash management' and help small businesses focus their cash flow in the right direction-which isn't always sales and marketing.

Financial Advisor, Rita Van Schoiack of Baker Boyer Investor Services/PrimeVest will cover cash management and investing for the small business owner. Karen Lyle of Baker Boyer Bank will address resources for effective cash management. The event will offer an exciting opportunity to hear from local financial service professionals who have worked with small businesses on a regular basis for more than 20 years.

About the Speakers


Rita Van Schoiack

Rita has 17 years of experience in the institutional fixed income area and can provide cash management and fixed income investment solutions for corporations, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and individuals. She has extensive experience in the area of tax advantaged investing and the municipal bond market and offers this specialized expertise to clients who are looking to incorporate investment tax strategies into their portfolios. Rita holds a Bachelor's degree from Portland State University. She is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and holds the following securities licenses: series 7, 52, 65, and 63. Prior to joining Baker Boyer Investor Services, Rita worked for 17 years in the institutional market as an institutional investment broker for a super regional bank broker/dealer in the Pacific Northwest.

Karen Lyle

Karen brings over 20 years of banking experience to her clients. She is an expert at many of Baker Boyer's sophisticated services, including online banking, business online banking, bill pay, and positive pay. Karen is committed to getting things done for her clients and will work in a team, drawing on the experience and diverse expertise of the bank's financial professionals, to help you meet your financial goals. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree from Central Washington University.
