Stephanie Waldhoff

Earth Scientist

Biography

Stephanie Waldhoff is a senior research economist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Joint Global Change Research Institute in College Park, MD. Her research focuses on Integrated Assessment modeling and climate change impacts, particularly agriculture, forestry, and land-use change. Her recent work has examined indirect land-use change emissions and collaboration with other IA modeling teams on the Land Use subgroup of the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways and Shared Climate Policy Assumptions modeling exercises.

Prior to joining JGCRI, Dr. Waldhoff was an economist in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Change Division where she led the Division's long-term Integrated Assessment modeling and estimation of the economic damages from climate change impacts. She received her BA and PhD (Public Policy) degrees from the University of Chicago.
