Contact us: 509-375-3776
From our laboratories located along the Columbia River to our Marine Sciences
Laboratory along the Pacific Ocean, PNNL scientists are developing new ways
to restore, protect and sustain fresh water and marine resources. To address
issues like contaminants, dams, salmon habitat and water management, researchers
are applying technologies such as remote sensing, "smart materials,"
genetic analysis and integrated environmental modeling to help government
and industry develop better, more integrated and publicly acceptable water
and fish management strategies.
