General Description

Sirti is a Washington State-funded economic development agency. Our mission is to accelerate the development and growth of technology companies in the Inland Northwest, especially in eastern Washington. Our target clients are innovative technology companies with defensible intellectual property, large market potential, and principals who show a strong desire to grow their business.

Assistance Available

Education/Training
Sirti offers training or education to entrepreneurs or to employees of small businesses.

Funding
Sirti assists technology-based businesses in obtaining financing. Also, the Sirti Technology Growth Fund is available for lending to qualified technology organizations. The $3 million Technology Growth Fund, made possible by a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, is designed to accelerate technology companies located in a ten county area within Eastern Washington in a number of market sectors including bio-products/health sciences, energy and the environment, value-added agriculture, and defense/homeland security that do not qualify for conventional bank financing.

General Management/Business Planning
Sirti provides business consulting services and/or assistance in preparing business plans.

Grant Writing
Sirti coaches technology-based businesses in writing proposals to obtain federal, state, and other grants.

Incubator Services
Sirti offers office,laboratory, and manufacturing space in two buildings to fledgling businesses.

Marketing Services
Sirti assists technology-based businesses in conducting market research, developing marketing plans and implementing marketing/communication strategies.
