Biography

Dr. Young-Mo Kim is an analytical chemist for metabolomics research in PNNL. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Korea, and joined the mass spectrometry group in PNNL for post-doctoral training. Currently he is a metabolomics scientist and his research interests include metabolite identification and quantification from complex nature of biological and/or environmental systems, metabolic flux analysis, and capability development and application of various chromatography and mass spectrometry technologies. He is involved in many research projects funded by DOE, NIH, DHS, and a few others. He also served as a lieutenant officer in Korean Army (2000-2002) after his ROTC training at undergraduate.
